Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jerome has held several executive leadership positions during 35+ years in the Automotive Industry. Versed in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, Warehousing and Distribution. He learned the importance of customer satisfaction and serving his employees to achieve desired goals and objectives. He learned his grilling expertise from his Dad and has mastered his skills over the years. His vision for the company is fueled by his desire to pay tribute to his Dad's legacy and to share his unique BBQ sauces, spice rubs and marinades with consumers everywhere.
Co-Founder, Senior Vice President - New Business Development, Marilyn has 35 years’ experience in the medical, business, and education industry; including, owing her own Medical Billing, Coding, and Consulting Services Company for the past 20+ years. Her professional profile boasts a solid managerial background with highly developed negotiation skills and experience cultivating strategic business partnerships; equally strong in budgeting and financial management. Detail oriented with the ability to manage projects and meet deadlines. Proven ability to recognize and capitalize on market trends and assume responsibility for strategic planning, market research/forecasting, promotional planning, event planning, and advertising. She is a decisive team leader with extensive experience in staff recruitment, professional team building, and development of talented/creative training programs. Marilyn is also a persuasive communicator with well-developed presentation and negotiation skills. Able to develop productive relationships with colleagues, customers, and staff at all levels. Creative problem solver with ability to drive growth, resolve conflict, and improve staff morale.
Vice President - Culinary Innovation, Fredrick, known to many in the industry as "Chef Fred", is a graduate of the world renowned Johnson & Wales School of Culinary Arts. He is a highly qualified Executive Chef with 20+ years in the Food & Beverage industry and possess superior culinary skills. He has comprehensive knowledge of a broad range of foods, regional cuisines and flavors. Skilled Food Cost Specialist with documented successes across 5 Star restaurants including Ruth Chris Steak House and Prime Blue Grill. Highly skilled at managing and coordinating promotional and public relations activities to achieve market recognition. Fred is a Certified Executive Chef with the American Culinary Federation (ACF).
Our MISSION is to generate brand name recognition as producers of premium-signature BBQ sauces, spice rubs, and marinades using all fresh, natural and organic ingredients. By using our unique brands to distinguish our products and services, we seek to engage communities by building partnerships; educating and inspiring young culinary entrepreneurs; volunteering and providing resources.
Our VISION is to create and produce healthy alternatives to indoor/outdoor cooking by developing and producing premium-signature BBQ sauces, spice rubs, and marinades from all fresh, natural and organic ingredients that lead to long-term benefits to consumers “living well” and “healthy.” We intend to become a household name in the U.S.
Prince Ruby Huddleston, (known to family and close friends simply as P.R.), was tagged as the “Sauce Boss” within our family and throughout neighborhoods of Flint, Michigan. When he would fire up the grill, the aroma would permeate throughout the neighborhood and childhood friends would come from blocks away just to see if our Dad was barbequing. If he was not, they would hangout for a bit, but we could detect disappointment if it was not his grill that was “smoking.” However, if he was grilling, they would hangout for hours waiting for a taste of whatever was cooking on the grill.
Our Dad’s grilling skills were exceptional and enjoyed by many. However, his BBQ sauce, which is a 70-year-old secret family recipe, was absolutely “the best ever” and is still talked about and sought after to this day. Dating back as far as the early 80s, Michael, Marilyn and I (Jerome) have been asked by many people over the years, how to make our Dad’s barbecue sauce and of course our reply was always, “it’s a family secret, sorry but we cannot give it out.” So the next words ultimately were and with emphasis, “well can y’all make me a bottle, we will pay whatever you want for it!!” As of December 2019, the planning phase for that request began! As of late 2020, “PR’s Premium BBQ Sauce -N- Things, LLC®” is born and we are thrilled to share pleasant memories and a taste of our childhood from our house to yours.
When we were old enough, Dad showed us how to barbecue and make his sensational sauce…sweet, tangy, spicy, hot, lip smacking, finger licking…as many have described it. Our Dad barbecued year-round, regardless of snow, rain, sunshine, or exhausting heat. Dad was quite the connoisseur of good food whether cooking indoors or grilling outdoors, which was his favorite past time besides, fishing, enjoying family and friends and taking care of his family.
No matter the occasion…visiting out of town, vacationing, at the local park, trips to Canada, high school events, college dorms/apartments, weekend family get togethers or simply in our own backyard…Dad’s barbecue was included, even demanded (in a friendly way) along with his “out of this world sauce.” Mom guesstimates Dad was in his early 30s when he made his first batch of barbecue sauce. Mom, who is currently 94 years young, states with pride “I can still make your Dad’s sauce better than either one of you!!"
This is truly an effort to pay loving tribute to our Dad, brother Michael (both are no longer with us) and Mom. Our Dad lives on through HIS sauce and it is with great pride, joy, excitement and humility that we bring to you, “Prince Ruby’s Premium BBQ Sauce.”

“I took your sauce to a cookout for people to sample and to use on the meat that was cooking on the grill for the cookout. They sampled it and then they did not wait for the meat to finish cooking, they started eating it with bread. If I hadn’t stopped them, we wouldn’t have had any to go on the meat!!
